a customer today didn't want his old alarm that was installed but we installed a new python alarm so everything worked fine...

i'm missing a few parts which i found on ebay for a good price...all it first needed was a valet switch, lock/unlock harness plug in, led light...

it needs an antenna harness/wire because it's cut but i still have the antenna..i also need a remote for it...

my question is...if i find a new remote...is there any way for me to program the remote and any way to test the alarm on the 'bench' to make sure it works?

on ebay, 1 of the descriptions said that if the original remote had a green LED indicator on it then it would work on the alarm..but since i dont have that..is there any way to know before i waste my money on a new remote?

will any DEI antenna/ antenna harness work?

you can program a remote to it as long as it is the same remote it would have come with. directed electronics website will give you the compatible remotes. but there is no way to really bench test an alarm system
