Hi all.

Sorry for posting this because its probaly so simple to all of you, I have searched but cant find an answer.

All I need is the info on which pins to connect to on a relay to add a dvd player to my trunk.

What I want to do is connect to the battery direct with a fused link and connect an existing wire from the car which is live when the acc position is turned by the key. This will then energise the relay to send the 12v fron the battery via the relay to the dvd player.

Thanks

yes 85 to any good ground in the car, preferably make your own. and 86 will go to the wire that you want to use to activate the relay and needs to be positive, 87 will go to the power wire for the dvd and 30 is going to the battery or other 12v constant source and should be fused. As for the reverse lights you should only need either positive or negative generally not both to check just check the wires going to the reverse light bulb one will either go to ground when car is in reverse or it will go to 12v when the car is in reverse then use the appropriate one from the rear view camera.
