Do you guys have an opinion on self powered subs like the INfinity?  Thanks

As far as the self contained sub boxes, I don't like them. The internal amps are usually low powered, and the boxes tend to give a lot of flex.
What I've found works good in situations like yours is to put a bandpass box in the trunk with the port coming up through where the factory sub was. The bandpass box is important though, because a standard ported box sounds bad with the waves separated.
