i have a dei viper 160xv on my car and want to start the carw with the factory remote by pressing lock 3 times. I also want to use the remotes that came with it byut press the viper remotes twice to start the car. Is this programmable with the bitwriter? if so- how?

As far as i know it would control both the remote and WHITE/ blue wire for the pulses equally.  By the way im also in NY(BX)

You can hook up the blue/white wire off the 12pin harness (activation input) to your factory lock wire.
If you change the pulse input (default is at 2) to 3, when you use the viper remote, it will also be 3.
