Hi guy's, I am in need of some info.

I have a 2004 Honda Civic and I am trying to find a company who can supply a high output alternator. The car is a UK spec 1.6 SOHC (D16) but the engine is the same as the US spec 1.7SOHC (D17)

Any help is much appreciated.

excessive amperage, HO alts, powermaster, db electrical.

Dominic at Irragi Alternators has been building high quality HO alternators for a long time...Ive run a 250A and a 280A that he built in different cars, and was very happy with both...great idle output, which is one of the nicer features of a well built HO alternator...you dont have to have your foot on the gas at a red light to prevent your lights from dimming...

apparently he has a store on ebay now...been awhile since I have talked to him...check him out though, top notch equipment and hes a top notch guy to deal with...

you could try stingerelectronics.com and they will build a custom alternator for your car
