eh hem.. i wasnt disagreeing with it cant be bridged. my friend has this amp and it SAYS on it that it's bridgeable and thats how to bridge it.

yeah its far left positive and far RIGHT negative. my bad.

it is impossible to bridge a mono amp, regardless of what your friends amp says on it. bridging an amp requires 2 channels because bridged channels are the sum of the two combined channels. it cannot be done on a mono amp as there is only one channel. the only reason there are two terminals is for convenience of hooking up two speakers without having to twist the ends together or sticking two wires into one terminal...no other reason.

Lots of Rockford mono amps have inputs for mutliple speakers and they LOOK like they have muiltiple channels. This is done just for the convenience of not having to cram lots of speaker wire into just one positive and one negative. It is just one channel and therfore the term "bridged" does not apply.

The inputs are probably labled A and B not 1 and 2. That's how it is on my RF Power T10001bd.
