00 Caravan Autolamps

So do all 2000 grand Caravans have autolamps?  If not how do I test to see if mine has them?  I know how to bypass them, I just want to know if I need to do so.

Ok here is what I have figured out:  In the light switch wire harness I found a GRN/WHT and a GRN/RED wire.  I also found two BLK/YEL  wires so I am not sure which one of those to use.  In my wire diagram it shows to tap either the GRN/WHT or the GRN/RED wire.  I am not sure which one but I assume it is the GRN/WHT wire because when I probe this wire with ground, only the parking lights come on, but if I probe the GRN/RED wire with ground Both the parking and headlights turn on. 

So I assume I need to grab the GRN/WHT wire, but which BLK/YEL wire do I cut and install the relay on?  Is it really necessary to do this at all since the GRN/WHT appears to work?  Or is there a light sensor that will cause the headlights to tun on when it is dark outside, and hence cause a problem. If that is the case what would be the problem with just grabbing the GRN/RED wire which turns the headlights on too?

just use a ground park light output from the remote start to the grn/wht to turn the park lights on.  Lots of vehicles have automatic lights and the lights don't flash at night but its usually not a big deal.  If it has auto headlights just follow the DEI diagram.

To test if you have autolamps, drive the van at night.  If you don't have to turn on the headlights with the switch, you have autolamps.
