Hi guys. i'm just a rookie at all of this.i grew up with the 8 track craze.remember the 3x5 wedge speakers that went in the rear deck? As I said I'm a novice ,but i have a decent system in my '04 Avalanche. Being on a budget makes you do alot of research before you buy. My system is as follows (this is just to give you an idea of decent sound on a budget) A JVC head unit with HD radio, two 6 1/2 3-way kickers in the front door, the same in the rear door, 2 10 in dvc subs in the rear, a Boss audio mono amp (400 watts rms @ 2ohms) a Boss audio 4 channel amp for the other speakers , and a Clarion eq. might not be the best,but the whole deal was bought online ,and installed by myself. And believe me I'm not bragging, I just love to do things like this. I hope your system turns out the way you want it to."That'll get ya 10 in Leavenworth,11 in Twelveworth, or 5 & 10 in Woolworth".
