entry level headunit sony or blaupunkt?

A friend of mine wants to buy an entry level headunit of approximately $100 for his vintage W123-series Mercedes Benz. His main requirement is that the unit should look kind-of OEM.
I found the Blaupunkt Bahamas MP46 that ought to fit the car quite well:

He's thinking of the Sony CDX-A250, which I'm not too fond of:

Any other suggestions, or would one of these units suffice?

Modern entry level sony radios are next to impossible to get a good sound out of. Any Blau will give you the look that he is looking for, and for the money a better overall sound.
