Fortin offer bypasses required.
The bypass might be a challenge bc theres a proprietary unit needs to go in conjunction w/ the CAN-bus unit. Youll also need to give up a spare key.

ya thats the bypass i was looking at last night ....doest seem to bad with how the bypass says .just need to unplug ribbon cable and hook up to the fortin bypass and back into the ign cylinder ...but after that i kind of got confused with the instructions ....

im not worried about the extra key ..i just want to put a simple starter in no locks or anything just want it to start the car thats it ....

profuse have you done one of these cars? i want to know if its a challenge to get to the IGN wires

To do a remote start in a bmw 2006 you need the combo CAN-SL2 and INTBMW1. You also need a RS-232 Fortin Data Port compatible remote start. That the only way to do a remote start in this car.
Thanks

Fortin do not have remote start. Order to compustar (Firstect), a INT-BMW1, a CAN SL2 and a firstech RS-232 data porte remote start.
