I'm doing a 02 F-150 and I'm having problems finding the power lock wires. It's an extended cab. It came with factory power locks and factory keyfobs..
According to all wiring diagrams I've checked the wires are supposed to be Pink / YELLOW and Pink/Green in the drivers or passengers kick panels. I've looked in both places and I see no wires that color..
Please help. I've been on the locks for over an hour.
Thanks

Ok. I found those wires up in a cream colored module mounted on the firewall but they are testing not like I thought (negative)..
When I probe the wire at rest it sits at ground.. When I hold the button down it goes to 3.5 V?

LOCK Pink / YELLOW In passenger kickpanel   -
Doorlocks are negative (-) trigger on models with keyless entry. Models with no keyless entry are positive pulse, 2-door base model is 5-wire reverse polarity. On some of the Super Crew Cab models the lock wires changes to RED / GREEN for lock and PINK/GREEN for unlock (reverse polarity).
UNLOCK Pink/green In passenger kickpanel   -

Use the key in the door, not the switch, to test!

Thanks much for the reply! Hopefully you're still around..
So since this truck has factory keyless shouldn't the locks test -? As in they would rest with voltage and then when the lock / unlock is pressed they would go to ground?
Mine are going to 3.5V when depressed and do nothing when using the key in the door.
Thanks again!

Another question. Do you know what size nut is on the A-Pillar "oh crap" handle? I can't get the thing off to run my antenna.
Thanks

The locks were in the GEM (only place they were) and I was testing them wrong.. I didn't have my meter on OHMS which is what I should have to test the negative locks.
Thanks for the help.
