Notes:
NOTE: This vehicle has the PATS anti-theft system. Use DEI part number 555F to bypass during remote start operation.  *1 Also found at the GEM module located above the drivers kick panel to the drivers side of the steering column.  *2 There are two door trigger wires. Use yellow/black for the drivers door and gray/red for the passengers door. Both wires are found above the drivers kick panel in a 20 pin connector. Use both wires and diode isoate each. See direct fax document #1076 for wiring information.  *3 For the 3.8L motor, use the dk. blue/lt. green, red/lt. blue, or the pink/white. All of these wires are found at the coil pack. The 4.6L motor uses a separate coil for each cylinder. Go to any coil and use the wire that is NOT red or white/lt. blue.   *4 The PCM is located behind the passenger kick panel.   *5 The amplifier is located just below the radio.

The Trunk release is purple/yellow with a polarity of + If my alarm send a negitive pulse to pop the trunk, What other wire will I hook up to? The alarm is a Prestige 25kb. I tried both wires on the trunk switch (purple/yellow and a orange) with no luck. If anyone knows how to fix this please help. Thanks in advance!

I found how to change polarity on the12volt.com, now here is my next question. I cut the white/pink starter wire and hooked it up to the relay with the alarm 86 to the alarm orange wire, 85 to a acc.wire and used 87 to starter and 30 to switch. When the alarm is set-off the car will still start, What did I do wrong? Thanks in advance!

first double check and see if the wires show power with the key in acc and see if there is a negative in the orange wire when the alarm is armed...  also...  does the car start when the alarm is disarmed?  you have the wire that is plugged up to 87 when it's supposed to be plugged into 87a...  then test it to see if that works...  thanks

Hmm his posts are from August does he really need help anymore?? By the way read his post he put 85 to an ACC wire which means his starter kill relay would drop out when the acc drops out for crank and allow the car to start..Put it to an ignition wire..
