I am going to add aftermarket fog lights to my car. I want to find a way to wire in a buzzer so that when the car is off and I leave the fog lights on it buzzs. You know like it does for the stock lights?
I was thinking of something in the way of a relay hooked to the acc wire. When the acc wire has no power but the switch does it opens power to the buzzer. I am however baffeled about the exact wiring that would need to be done?

why not wire the 86 post(+ coil)of your relay to your fog light on/off switch, then to your ignition wire. this way the lights can only turn on when your ignition is in the on position, or when the vehicle is running and the fog light switch is on.. When you turn the ignition off it will drop power to the fog light circuit, turning the lights off when you park the car. I would rather have that than the annoying ding ding ding sound.. ___________________________________ Just because you've done something for a long time doesn't mean you're any good at it.

I could then in theroy use the acc on the stereo to trigger the coil in the relay then? I would use the switch (+) to pin 30 to provide power to the relay and when the car is off the N/C circuit would then have power when the fog lights are on and the buzzer would chime, right? I would still need to wire the fog lights to the relay under the hood to provide power to them so the switch would just Y off for power to both relays.
If I am right, you helped comfirm what I was thinking when I was brain storming on my diagram. Now I just have to find the buzzer!
