I just finished installing a new stereo into my brother's 1985 BMW 635csi. Because I didn't have access to any wiring diagrams or other help, I had to figure it out by myself. Now that I know what all the wires are for, how do I help others with similar cars? The link I found from the wiring database on this website was very incomplete ( 1985 BMW 633 Stereo Information ). I'm assuming other stereo amateurs with similar years and models of BMW would benefit from my time and effort.

Where do I submit the info?

The BEst Way to do is Buying a stereo Harness for the car you are going to install. and Using a Multimeter to check the wires....
Hope this Helps

1) I think you misread my post. I already figured out the wiring and I want to know how to submit it for other people to use.

2) A wiring harness would not help in this case because the OEM unit has nothing to unplug from it (except the speaker wires and some others in seperate plugs). I had to cut most of the wires directly from the back of the unit.

Someone please let me know where to submit this info...

Exactly. I had to cut the wires from the back of the unit.

Could someone affiliated with this site please tell me how to submit information to the wiring database?

Thanks.
