My '96 Pontiac Grand AM GT has a weird thing happening with the gauges in the dash. ALL of them start jumping back and forth for a few seconds, then stop. They started doing this 2 days ago and seem to be doing it more often now. I've checked the battery and alternator and had Advance Auto check them and they both seem fine. The car runs perfect when the gauges go crazy. Anybody ever had this happen or know what is causing this?

After lots of testing and trying things, it was the instrument cluster that I had to replace. Just sharing this info in case it happens to any of you.
