I had an alarm system installed a week ago and now i have no cruise control. It has worked a couple of times but it acted funny. It has tried to work but will not hold the speed but mostly does nothin at all. I took it back to the place that installed the alarm but they couldnt find anything wrong. They did say they would send it to a dealer to have it fixed but i was hoping to get it fixed before i had to let some dealer fix that but tear up something else so they could make some money off of me!! Any suggestions??

Well we have been all over this truck trying to figure it out but apparently it just died on its own so now its time to start replacing stuff. Personally ive never worked on a cruise control before so i have no idea what to check first. Ive done alot of internet searching and only advice i found was due to my symtoms they recommend to replace the "brain" first which should be under my dash?? I figured i would find it and go get another from a junkyard for cheap and go from there. Any suggestions if i should go another route first??

Well, month's later and still no cruise control, I'm ready to shoot this truck!! I replaced the servo unit yesterday thinking for sure that was the problem, but, of course that didnt work either. So, think its time to turn it over to a professional and take a reaming on it??
