ok might sound dumb but, when u lay down the foil to glass over, do u put the dull side or shiny side down??

Do any side up and hit it with a little paste car wax so it all comes off later.
Why do you ask if I ate paint chips when I was younger?

Depends on what you are cooking. Most recipies call for the foil to be shiny side towards the food. It keeps the heat in better. For F/G work, we find that shiny side away from F/G works best. Hit it with some spray wax, F/G doesn't stick to it.
