i am new to glassing and i was wondering if you you could take bondo filler and mix it with bondo fiberglass resin? to make a paint on filler or if there is only a certian type you can do that with???

Make the mixture a 5:1 ( Bondo : resin ) and if you want a thinner solution, then mix a 5:1.5 mixture. Just keep in mind that if your spreading it over a project with vertical walls, the mixture will run.
