how to fit neons?

hello there, i just got some neons for my first car and i havnt a clue how to fit them!  I was going to put two in the boot and two in the front, just wondering if any1 could sujest which wires i should connect them to? where are typical 12v connections and what would be suitable for an earth?

What kind of connectors came with them? If they're bare wires, tap the rears into the boot light I guess, and the fronts to either the cig plug wiring with a switch

you can use any bare chassis metal for an earth, I used an air conditioner bracket behind the dash for my headunit.

Neons that I have been looking at have an inverter? If I were to wire it off the boot interior light (so when the boot is opened light comes on) how would I do so? I Ideally want neons that dont have inverters or have them built in so it is all neat?
