Hey i am pretty new into car audio, subs, etc. and i was wondering what would be a nice setup to run 3 10"s or a couple of 12"s. I need everything from a hu to amp to subs. Im looking for somethin thats gonna hit pretty nicely but in a smaller budget, but will also somethin of quality. Thanks

size and number of subs is irrelevant..What do you want from the substage??
90% of the sound is from the enclosure anyways.

$500 That's really tight, and with a shop install unless you know the owner really well, your not going to get the whole system and install for that. Depending on what size your front speakers are.

All Pioneer items. I feel they are a good well made product for your budget. I am also just using said store to show what  you can get these items at for your money I could care less where you shop but it dose give you a price range.

6 1/2 2 way speakers $50.

Deck $104

10" sub $109

Yes you will want a dual 2ohm sub then you can run the voice coils to make a 4ohm load, ideal for the amp.

Amp $179

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8356414&type=product&id=1177112668775

Front speaker               $50

Deck                             $104

Sub                               $109

Amp                             $179

Total---------------------$442

Then you still need, pluss a few things I am sure I forgot.

A box for the sub  $50-125

Deck kit if you need it    $15-50

Amp wiring kit                 $30-80

Mics. stuff                         $30 ish
