Hey All. I'm new to the forum and need some help. I'm currently a combat Medic stationed at Ft Bragg, NC in the wounded warrior program and I have a challenge to overcome.
I need to be able to take the OEM receiver/NAV unit out of my 2008 Ford Fusion and Place it in my 2006 F-250. I currently have a AVIC 900BT in the and I'm less than impressed. I Loved the stock NAV unit and would like it in my F-250. Any Ideas? Anyone close to help me?

The pioneer will probably go into the fusion. No, the Fusion does not have sync, it's build date was one month before sync started in the fusions.
The F-250 is already set up for Sirius and has the antenna for the NAV already from the pioneer.
Thanks for your help.

hi,

is the system in the Fusion the THX system?..it has an additional module (processor/amplifier).  not sure if the stock nav unit can drive a speaker directly.  also if the Fusion h/u has a factory sub, but not the THX system, the speaker outputs may be crossed over internally (high pass outputs). would be able to help given more info about what wiring you have at the rear of the Fusion headunit.

My 2008 has the premium sound system, but I have a 400W amp I can hook up to it. I'm not sure if there are any installer in the Fayetteville, NC area. But I'd love to talk to them when I return from Christmas Leave!

The thing is I'm a total novice to all this and really not sure what it all means.
All I know is that the fusion has a premium sounds system without sync. I do have an additional 400 watt amp if that would help. Is anyone from this forum close to Fayetteville? I really need some help with this!
Thanks all!
