I've built a box out of 1/2" plexi and I was warned breifly about flex,  I wanted to know a little more about the possible damage if any.  Also,  the box is for my Premier - ts-w2000 spl 12" sub, and it is a sealed enclosure (1.5 cubed)  so it isn't a huge box,  resulting in very little flex.  Is there some sort of test i can do to test it out for flexing?

This sub is a monster and I love it so if I can avoid damaging it I'd like to know.

Thanx for any help

P.S.  I'll try to get some pics posted in the near future

Don't quote me, but I believe that 1/2 plexi does the same job as 3/4 MDF. Can't remember for sure but I'm sure there is a quick rule. It also depends on the quality of plexi I think.

From my experience wrencher is right, half inch plexi should be ok.

Go w/ 1/2" polycarbonate (aka-lexan). It's supposedly the stuff that bullet proofing material is made of.

With an enclosure that small and 1/2 inch plexi you have nothing to be worried about.
