1979 Toyota Cressida with twin-shaft radio in it (stock 1979 Toyota radio).  The opening is too small for a new DIN sized radio. What I need to know is:   Are any install kits available for this car, or do I have to fabricate a faceplate from ABS plastic myself or do I have to cut out the dash opening???..........HELP

Any help at all is appreciated, thank you.

If I have an idea, and you have an idea and we share ideas, then we each have two Ideas, together we have four.

most shaft radios need to be cut to accomodate a din sized radio.  if you put the cage in front of the opening, is the gap top to bottom, larger than the cage?
