I recently bought a Alpine ive-d900...the only problem is that it does not have the plug going from the head unit to the dc/dc converter.....my question is where can I find one? Is there anything else I can use in its place?

I talked with alpine and they do not sell this item individually.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried eBay ? Sounds odd to me that this new system did not come with the DC/DC converter ?

They may not sell just the plug, but they shure do sell the harness with the plug , ground, and 12V + wires attached.

Its called the "power supply connector"

That may be your only choice.

Is this the same plug with the silver box on it, that actually plugs into the back of the screen?
