Older stuff i mean, amps any good? might get three for low low price.

I had a 12 in sub by the crunch back in 92 and it was pretty tough.

Crunch amps.  They aren't that clean and are overrated.   Kinda like audiobahn.   I wouldn't pay much for them.

That said, I had a 1996 series crunch amp and it still worked when I ebayed it a few months ago.

Also got an older hi fonics mercury 40 watter, i assume all three amps are from the same time frame.

Any help here would be great!

So what r you saying? The crunch made by zed audio was crap?

I picked them up for 100 bucks for the three of them so i think i didn't pay too much, lol

The 150 and the 100 are fairly large to only be 150 and 100 watts? Could they be true ratings?

So will i have to look at the board inside to see if there is the ZED name somewere?

C'mon i know theres some old school installers  on this site, The models of the crunch amps are CR150 and CR100.

They are fair size and are pretty heavy.

I think I still have a crunch 150 on duty, running the components in my wife’s suby.  I'll take a look when she gets home.  If you have the 150 and the 100 you could put together a simple system.  Using the 150 bridged to run the sub and the 100 to run your components.  That series was all made to meet end to end, to create a seamless look and the controls are top mounted so it could look cool.  Got any pictures?  I think the manual covered several models, so if its the one maybe I will try to dig it up for you, i keep all my documentation : )

I'll have a digi cam to take pics tommorrow

I could use some kinda help with the colour coding of the speaker wires though.

Aso wondering if a 2 ohm bridge would be safe,  i doubt it myself but you never know?

Do you know if this series is made or desighned by steve mantz? Zed audio?

Oh i found this while looking http://www.rodek.com/

Does that mean there makin them again? The crunch -- posted image. They look pretty sweet!
