I have an amp thats probably almost as old as high top fades, you guys dont remember those.   My problem is that I see the problem but cant fix it because I dont know what the colors are in the middle of the two  burnt out resistors.  the board is in great condition and under the resistors there is ---2.7R 1 watt--- under each one but the first band on each one is different(red& yellow), is it possible that they were replaced with the wrong resistors by a previous owner? I am a novice at amp repair but I solder well, Could  there be any other unforseen damage? and is it expensive to replace? The onle other shop that I know of that does amp repair in my area is not very reputable.   the amp is the Hifonics Generation X-module 2chb-5 and of cousre ZED AUDIO. any comments, help, advice would be well recieved.

2.7 R should be 2.7 OHM 1 watt..... R denotes a value less than 1 K....  they should have been red, violet, gold

BTW, burned resistors are usually indicative of a larger problem... if these are output emitter resistors i would tend to suspect you've got smoked output drivers, regardless of "how they look" ...... test them with a good semi tester and if blown, replace them in matched pairs....
