setting speaker alignment

I purchased a kenwood kdc x889 headunit, one option im not sure how to use is the digital time alignment for the speakers. I called kenwood and thier tech support was crap, any help would be great .

picture this...the numbers represent your speakers. you sit closest to one.  what you need to do is  measure the distance between your head and each speaker. which ever is farthest away, it will probably be either 2 or 4 depending on your car, is you reference. that is set at a delay time of 0.00 milli seconds. you will have to figure each delay time individually.  hope im not too late to help.

now, here's your macig equation.   A=(B-C)/34  A: delay time in milliseconds                                     

              1                      2                                            B: distance from you to furthest speaker (reference speaker) in cm

                                                                                     C: distance from listening position to speaker to be adjusted in cm

              3                     4
