hey everyone. ive got a crazy question. in a sealed enclosure, ive seen the subwoofers mounted in 2 ways. first and obviosly the subwoofer mounted in the enclosure with the basket in the enclosure. then ive seen the sub mounted upside down with the cone facing into the enclosure with the basket of the sub facing outwards. my question is, with a properly sealed box, does it really make a big diference how the sub is mounted as long as its a tight sealed fit? i really like the looks of the sub firing upside down and i was hoping that it would hit just as hard as if it were fitted right side up. all suggestions are greatly appreciated! thanks.

I would suggest trying it yourself. screw them in  and listen to them both ways and see which way u like.  i would stick with regular way if u want better sound quality.
