i have already sealed off my door panels and currently have a set of Golwood 8" woofers in there.  they were cheap from parts express, but now i am wanting to get more puch out of the system, which an 8" woofer should produce quite well.  I have been looking at the kicker comp8" because they perform well as a free-air or infinite baffle speaker as well, which is what my set up is most like ( technically it is a large sealed enclosure).  How do you guys think these woofers will do as far as mid range.  they will be crossed over between 50HZ and play up to 300--350Hz. do u think they wil be muddy? or do you have any suggestions of other woofers to look into. Thank you for your opinions

oh yeah, the volume of the door panel is approx.  2.5-3 cuft.
and i have a 5.25 component set for mid range and high freq.,     and i have a 12" woofer ported at 31HZ with a freq response that is extremely flat.
