I've recently installed a pair of Polk SR 6.5" components in my Honda and I think its the factory angle of the tweeter pod, but I can't really hear the drivers door tweeter as much as I can the passenger side.
I have the x overs set at -3dB and if I move the driver side up to 0 or +1dB It sounds a lot bettr and well centered.
My question is would having 1 xover set at -3 and the other at +1 cause any harm?

No.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
