Hello! I'm thinking of installing an alarm/RS on my 08 Civic, as I checked the locations on where to mount the siren I noticed right away how crowded the engine bay so, I'd like other installers input on where to mount it. Also, is there a pre-drilled hole where can I ran the wires going to engine bay?

Thanks in advance!!!

Hey ruki,
I usually put a siren under the trunk area as a backup. This might be another area for you to look around to hide one up in there. It will get wet so make sure that it is aiming downward. Also be prepared because it is louder. Hope this helps some what.

The pre drilled hole is called a grommet and cable should pass through it  already, look at bulkhead at back of engine bay around driver's side.

Thanks Sound Pressure & Howie.

PS: Howie, groomet is the rubber or plastic that goes around the hole to ensure not to damage the cable passing through the hole. Just a correction not a flame.

Thanks again!
