I need some troubleshooting help on a this Galaxy remote start. I have the 2000RS system
My car is a manual transmission. I am having trouble starting my car with the remote system.
I arm the system as needed to exit the car. This part goes fine. The engine stays running and as the doors are shut the system shuts the car down. The problem is when I go to use the remote to start the car later.
When i push the button to start, (the middle button on the side of the remote) it immediately sounds the off tune and the display reads "off" on the right side of the display. The car does not start. Though the parking lights do flash as if it is going to start, but the engine does not start at all.
Can anyone help me on this? Is it possible that I have done something to the remote?
The manual does not really help me at all on this.
Thanks
Vala

I am on my second auto start system, installed at one of the best shops in town. The first was upgraded to this after It stopped receiving remote signals. It was just dead in the water.
This new system worked well for about 2 weeks, then this issue happened about 4 days ago, and I can not get the system to work again. It needs to go back to the shop, but I thought I would try to get some imput before I took it back in.
I have a 2005 manual jeep wrangler. I am not using any features but the remote start, since I dont have auto locks etc.

my jeep has the black headed key, not the sentry key or a key that is chipped.

the only other idea I have is that maybe it has a small toggle switch under the knee bolster that might have gotten bumped to off.
