im looking for a way that i can gain a tech from a deisel engine

all the clocks in the car run on cambus so could i pick up the tacho feed from the injector

Nah the only desel engines are on Toy Odis.

The best bet would probably be the cam position sensor. I'm thinking a diesel injector, even if it were electric, would have totally different electrical signals than a gas injector.

What's the point. We still don't know what it is, anyway RPM from engine management any one?

Right stop being silly, now the guys gone back to school to write English, try a DEI 454(?) across batt to alt to give inductive revs.

We were supposed to get snow AGAIN this week but it only hit parts of the UK, bloody cold though, all bets are off guys just noticed he's from the UK, my crystal ball says VW, Vauxhall, or Peugeot/Citroen.
