Why do you need engine run sense?   A turbo timer? Also probably the tachometer (rev counter) By the way Mr. I, the Pajero is called the Montero in North America and the Shogun here.

Yeah...i knew as i had joined the PoCuK...I need the Engine Sense wire for the Remote Start....I used to connect it to the Tachometer wire but it seems produce not enought juice, the engine will start and stall after 2 Sec as it didn't receive the signal that the engine had running...
I now connect it to the Alternator L-Terminal,it peform quite well...only QUITE....sometime the engine will crank one then it stop...the alarm then register the engine had running and leave the Ignition On without engine running....i think this sometime produce too much current while cranking so the alarm taught the engine is at running state....
Where can i find another Engine Sense wire to connect to....
Thanks for the helpengine run sense wire? -- posted image.

I've done quite a few of these and I don't think the prolem is in your tach, that  will have a nice signal and it's my prefered connection point on all Japanese except funnily enough my own Galant, but I do connect Mazda's, (not the new ones they're Fords in drag), Subies and Nissans that way with no problems.  Could I suggest the obvious, that you programme it as a diesel or set up a 4 sec delay between ign and start, also on a petrol 2001 Pajero, I recently had to enter an extended crank.

Thanks Howie...I have do one on a Mazda RX-8 which same,i connect the sense wire to Alternator-L terminal and it get around 2-4V when the Ignition switch is turned to ON,battery voltage when the engine is at idle...this works well for the Mazda but the alarm is diffrent type,it had a switch which eneble you to switch between Alternator sensing or Noise sensing....but on my Pajero the alarm doesn't have this kind of switch,it is a multiple signal detection type which can connected to Oil-Press sensor,Tachometer and Alternator sensing....i heard some people said that this type of alarm needs learning before it can work properly but at the manual theres is no information about how to teach the alarm to use that signalengine run sense wire? -- posted image.
