I've got a96 Saturn SL2 that I also am interested in putting an alarm on.  It came from the factory with RKE but no factory alarm, what would I have to do to install an alarm to work with the RKE?

All you have to do is hook up the door lock & unlock wires from the alarm to the RKE wires on the Saturn. Pretty simple installation.
