I have started to use some DEI products and the LED in of a size that I cannot find a step cutter for. The LED needs a hole of 5/32. I have bought some drils of the correct size but I much prefer to use a step cutter.

What do you guys use??

Thanks

Nick

Yes, my Unibit has a 9/32" step on it as well.
Also, if you lay a DEI LED sideways against a bench grinder for a moment, the outer plastic housing will come off, revealing the small glass LED inside. For a stealth look, you can drill a 1/8" hole, push the bare LED in from behind, and glue in place if necessary. It will still light up red, even without the housing.
