i replaced the remote on my remoter starter for my 2004 elantra  and im having trouble programming it... i found the hoodpin switch (i think)  and i pressed it and nothing happend  can anyone help?????..... i wass also reading a post on here from a guy a couple years ago and he was saying that you can ground it out with a grey wire or something like that..?

its a prostart 2000' two way remote start from Canadian Tire...i cant figure ou the flash hood pin switch  part

there is a 5pin harness with black, purple. grey, orange and yellow. Take the grey wire and attach it to ground. Then use the button on the side of the unit

push it for 4 seconds, let go, press again and let go

turn the key in the ignition to run, then back off.

hold the lock button on your remote until the unit clicks 5 times.

ok just tried it i removed the grey wire from the harness and pluged the harness back in i attached the grey wire to ground  pushed the button  on the unit for 4 seconds let it go pushed it again let it go turned the car on then offff took the key out held the LOCK button and nothing happend the remote makes a very faint buzzing sound thats it :S
