I am trying to install this in a 2008 F-150. I hitched up all the wires but the starter relay, The truck would not start. When started with the key I could not turn it off till I pulled the fuse out. Due you need to hitch up the started relay to get this unit to work.
Has anybody put one of this in a unit here in the starts and got it to work.

haev done a few of them and i dont like them.

if you can remote start it, and cant shutdown, make sure you have the brake shutdown hooked up.

if you start with the key and remove the key, and it stays running, open a door and close it. If it shuts down, its programmed for manual. If it doesnt shut off after that,

check to see if the ignition wire is constantly being powered. This will cause the truck to stay running.
