I'm trying to decide between the DEI 795 and the Millennium SF. I can get them both for the same price. Which pager system offers better range? I know the DEI is 27 MHz and the Millennium 435 Mhz. I've heard the Millennium is not FCC approved, so does that mean it might offer greater range? The thing I really like about the Millennium is that it tells you if you are out of range. Also, since the Millennium uses an internal antenna instead of an external radio antenna, will my range be considerably reduced as I have metallic tint? Lastly, the DEI pages out three times per violation in case the first one or two don't go through. Does the Millennium do something similar?
Thanks in advance for your time,
Mike.

The Millenium system is great and easy to install as well. The FCC ID for the unit is OT2RCM-3000R at an operating frequency of 434.79 MHz

Has anyone tried using pagers on vehicles with metallic tint? Does the range seem affected?
Thanks,
Mike.
