hey there,

I am installing a Avital 3200 on a 2002 dodge neon. The unit starts my car ok  most of the time but about 25% of the time the starter will crank and then the engine stops.  I understand the maybe the unit has trouble reading the tach wire correctly.  I tryed to make it  "learn" the tach wire as in the instructions but it doesnt learn it.

What I want to try is to make the unit read voltage sense instead of the tach wire, I am trying to reprogram it as in the instructions but the unit does not want to reprogram, in fact I cant even get past the first step.   The LED doesnt lite up to start up the programing process.

Could my wiring be wrong, because I really dont know anymore.

Please help,

Mac

What wire did you use for the tach ? You should have used the BLACK/ GRAY wire at the coil.
