Obviously I’m not a shop pro, more of a hobby, but trying to hook up a Viper 5901 using a XK06 bypass in a 2006 Hummer H3. Bypass has PLXR firmware version 3+. When I try to remote start, the Viper looks ok, and does have voltage on Violet start wire. All that happens, car wise, is the ACC power turns on, but I think that is through a ACC wire hooked up to BCM. Thinking my problem is with the bypass.
At the wire harness, I’m using WHITE/ blue for the R code, WHITE/ green for ignition, and WHITE/ black for 12v. The bypass ground when running is hooked up to the ground when armed on the 5901, and the bypass blinks when arming system.
The programming of the bypass was not as described in the directions. I think that may be the problem. I default the bypass by plugging in harness with button pressed and rapid blinks. I set to Passlock one blink, and then hold button. I get a single blink, and then after releasing button, light goes solid. This is when I try to program. I turn key to IGN, hit button, and hear relay click once. I shift to D, turn key and hold on start, and hit button again. I hear another click, and I think the bypass exits programming mode.
After all this, my remote start only turns on ACC power. Can anyone offer where to start troubleshooting? This project has me in a corner. Thanks.

connected GWR to dark blue on 5901 status but same result. No starter engage. Only radio comes on and light on gear selector.

I believe you need to set the XK06 to Colorado / Ion ( press button 3 times ) for the H3.  Its basically a Colorado.

Do another reset and select Colorado / Ion and see if that works.  Follow the Type C install diagram.

Soldering is fun!

The only reliable way to install a remote start in a car with this style ignition switch is to use two relays and a resistor. Directed document 1603.
