To hook up the viper 5901 module to the 524n heavy duty actuators, do you need a relay? Ive heard of the 451m module, but was just curious if the 5901 has built in relays. The both have the blue/green wire, so I connected them, but the locks pulsate up and down real quick - no locking success.
Thanks!

451 needed or of course separate relays, see diagrammes on this site. Read the installation manual.

The locks pulsate when you connect directly to the unit? Yes you need a 451m, The open contacts are 20amps capable, so you may have to upgrade the 15 amp fuse supplied! Normally four after market actuators will drw slightly over the 15amp mark, dependent mostly on the way the actuator is mounted!

Where the white two pin connector with the green and blue wires plug in, you plug the three pin harness there!
