I have 1998 Chevy Blazer. When i arm the truck the alarm beeps letting me know i left a dorr open but really the dome light delay is on. Is there any way to turn this off or bypass. i want to keep the door triggers incase of a break in? Any ideas on how to make this work. Thanks!!

Hmmmm.. why not work around it..
I guess you could change the arming to immediately after the last door closes, that way as soon as the charge bleeds off the capacitor the alarm will arm..
then again, that doesnt solve the problem.. lol..
I think there should a wire that isnt affected by the delayed domelight.. did you search the wiring guide thing here, or on google.com..??
just my 2 cents, but Im no installer, more like apprentice..
