factory security upgrade with smartphone

Is there a factory security upgrade that also allows you to add smartphone operation? For example a Code Alarm CA3051 integrated with a Carlink ASCL1. If the Code Alarm CA3051 has a data port I would think this would be possible, I just dont want to buy a Code Alarm CA3051 to see if it has the data port to find out.

If it matters I am wanting to add this to a 2011 ford F150 that already has the remote start and to a 2011 GMC terrain that also has the remote start.

Any ideas?

Go to the Audiovox tech site, sign in it's free, then download the install manual for the CA 3051. I think you've asked a genuinely original question, trouble is I don't think anyone here knows the answer.

As far as Audiovox, the units must have the telematics port (Prestige, Pursuit), or the tracking port (Code Alarm) to support Car link security features. This is the same interface, just called a different name by different product lines. The PRO9233N from Pursuit is an add on security system with a telematics port. The AS9234 from Prestige and Code is add on security and remote start supporting a telematics port. Another option is the AS9233ST, which adds a stick type one button remote to an add on security/remote start with telematics port--the remote extends the range for remote starting and allows you to unlock the vehicle while it is running under remote start if the factory remotes don't operate while the vehicle is running. The CA3051 does not support a tracking (telematics) port.Lectric Guy

I am not brand partial as long as it will do what I want. If htere is another brand that will do what i am looking for let me know. Thanks, Bob
