Is there anyway to restore the brain on a 5704v back to its factory settings all at once or at least by menu's. Don't want to go through every feature. Don't know what the last installer programmed.

Only by menu or a Bitwriter which would be faster.

Bleeding heck I'll be using a DMM next or driving a car with an autobox.
Actually the last was me being facetious Woof (the 11 year old Rover) has power locks, windows climate, cruise, heated seats etc. etc. and all works, why?
It's a BMW 5 Series front wheel drive with a Honda derived engine built in the UK from 97 to 05 and now made in China 5704v brain reset to defaults -- posted image.

And you though it was just Buicks made in China?
Or the Corola, made in Turkey for Eastern Europe and the Middle East but made in the UK for western Europe it's the Aura.
Actually Woof is the worlds most luxurious works van!
It's a "Tourer" (estate/station wagon) and by Euro standards the load area is ginormous, I could smuggle 20 Afghans into the UK.
Mods that was an in-joke .
