hello all
i have installed a clifford intelliguard 770 and a gps tracker in my 2009 corolla,of course the clifford allows keyless entry, the gps tracker also allows keyless entry - it can lock and unlock the doors by sending a text message to the device.Currently i use the clifford fob to lock and unlock the doors but i would like to have the tracker hooked up the the doors also just in case i lock my keys in the car. What I want to know is ,is there any special way to wire the tracker to the doors, and will connecting the tracker and the alarm to the same circuit affect each other, also if they will affect each other can diodes be used.
thanks

If the tracker has lock outputs just join to those of the 770 but diode separate them, 1N4004 bands towards the units.
Can't remember any more, haven't done one of those combos in about 6 years.

thanks for your response but i have more questions
1 the rpm lock on the clifford doesnt automatically lock the doors all the time
2 i would like to connect the alarm to the door trigger instead of the dome light as the dome light remains on for a bout 30 secs and then the alarm will arm 30 secs after that.
3 im having problems changing my pin i followed the manual but just still cant get it done
4 my proximty sensor keeps on giving me false alarms any suggestions
5 i have a clifford g5 750 on another vehicle could i just swap it out and put it in this vehicle that has in the g5 770(ie are the connections the same)
6 i have second unlock enabled on the alarm but i notice that when i press the panic button the alarm does go off but it also opens the driver door

1) Never had that problem with G3/4/5 provided you close the door first.
2) The dome light shuts down as soon as the car is armed and locked so it makes no difference.
3) No idea.
4) Try reprogramming it or remove any metal objects in the vicinity.
5) Colours are the same you would have to look to see if the plugs are.
6) It's supposed to, not sure if you can program that out though.
