Hello fellow DYIers,
I'm currently installing a DBALL2 + ProStart 6-button 2-way Remote Starter (from Canadian Tire) on my canadian '11 Elantra Touring (with immobilizer, but no alarm).
For some reason, NOTHING is working. elantra touring '11 dball2+prostart 2w -- posted image.
- The DBALL2 never flashes green during init. Depending on if I reset and/or reflash, it either: flashes red twice (CAN2 not detected, despite the fact that continuity tests work), or constant red. If constant red and I follow the type 3 module programming procedure by turning the key on the ON position and pressing the programming button 5 times, the LED will slowly flash red between 25-30 times and then stop flashing.
- The Remote Starter does not respond to any command on the remote. Door locks don't work.
DBALL2:
It is flashed for my model/year, with D2D disabled and Smart OEM Alarm Control disabled.
