Hello members
I had this unit as you know it is remote start and alarm combo but i connected it over the weekend only with Remote Start for now.
The range suffered, It's about only 1000 feet compares to another combo at 1500 feet. The range is poor, is it because I only connect the wires for Remote Start? should I also connect the alarm wires to make the range to its fullest?
Thank you
dcd

The remote range should not be affected by the number of connections made. Usually the culprit is the antenna placement and the antenna harness run. The advertised range is, at best, under very ideal conditions and not what you find in a real life situation.
Soldering is fun!
