alright...i installed the 790xv and it all works right...the only problem im having is when i shut down the car from being remotely started it pulses the factory disarm wire which turns on my dome lights and sents off the alarm...im thinking there must be a setting that I can change so that when the remotely startd car shuts down the factory disarms isnt pulsed..does anyone know how to fix this???

youre askin for settin, well you can program the unit not to lock control by ignition(default) to standard locks. but ive install one of this and it doesnt quite work like you mentioned. did you happen to use the rearm wire?

whats the year make and model of your car? Sounds like yer problem is in yer door trigger wire. Most newer cars the domelight has a delay function and you cant hook the door trigger to that, it needs to be hooked directly to the pinswitch. If you do that, and diode isolate it, you shouldnt get any voltage feedback if the domelight is turned on during remote start shutdown. So therefore, it will only go ff if a door isactually opened.
