Ok i have done several tests this week with ym alarm system since i installed it and I have determined the alarm brain to be faulty.  So with that in mind I have to contact autopage to see what i can do about fixing or replacing it, but i am asking anyone on the forums if you have an autopage 310, or any type of autopage alarm brain kicking around and you would like to sell it , email me  at

dgardiner@rogers.com

I just need an alarm brain, i've done all this work installing it so all i want is to get another autopage that i can simply plug into the harness, and go.

I have a 97 saturn SC2, with factory keyless entry, and I am using an Autopage rf-305 alarm. The problems i am having are, the dual stage shock sensor is not working, I was getting great range with the alarm about 40 feet, then suddently the next day after installing it i have to be 3 inches from the brain in order for the remote to work, so I have replaced and reprogrammed the remotes, and also reprogrammed the alarm brain. I can arm the alarm and disarm it, the siren works, and the parking lights flash fine, the starter diable relay is hooked up exactly as it is suppose to be according to the close starter relay digram, yet during arming you can still start the car. Oh and just recently i armed the alarm , and opened the door and nothing happened, I check the LED status and nothing, im not in valet mode, so the door triggers suddently arn't working either, so far I haven't found any other problems, and I have already tested my grounding of the alarm, and ran various volt meter tests.

My assumtion is that if the dual shock sensor is not working, but works if i run it on a straight 12v source and my rang is really poor , and i have done nothing or moved anthing to cause this, the unit may be faulty.
